Alyse Young

Associate General Counsel

Alyse Young is an Associate General Counsel of Calvert Impact. Alyse assists Calvert Impact’s Investments team structure, negotiate and document transactions with its portfolio borrowers. She also assists with managing regulatory compliance and securities issues relating to the issuance of the Community Investment Notes. In addition, she assists with negotiating and drafting various commercial and vendor agreements and supporting Calvert Impact’s strategy team with new products and initiatives.

Prior to joining Calvert Impact, Alyse practiced in the International Development Finance group at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP’s Winston-Salem office. Alyse received her JD from Duke Law School and received her BA in Political Science from the University of Florida. Alyse lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her husband, daughter and son.

Outside of work, Alyse enjoys exploring and enjoying the outdoors, cycling, yoga, reading and playing with her young kids.
