Laura Mixter
Director, Impact Measurement and Management
Laura Mixter serves as Director of Impact Measurement and Management on Calvert Impact’s Impact and Innovation team, supporting the organization’s impact strategy and framework as well as leading IMM development for new products at Calvert Impact. Prior to joining Calvert Impact, Laura served as the first ESG & Impact Reporting Lead at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), leading the implementation of LISC’s Lending Impact Matrix and IMM strategy. She has a decade of community development experience serving in a variety of roles including secondary markets, asset management and impact measurement and management.
Laura has participated in a number of industry-leading IMM trainings, including Impact Frontiers’ first CDFI cohort and Duke University’s Coursera course Impact Measurement & Management for the SDGs. In 2024, she contributed to What’s Possible: Investing Now for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods, a collection of essays exploring the intersection of community development and climate resilience organized by LISC, Enterprise Community Partners and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Laura holds a BA in public policy and an MBA with a concentration in financial analysis, both from Duke University. During business school, Laura was a CASE i3 Associate, working on case studies about leading impact investors including Calvert Impact.
