Manisha Swain

Officer, Investments

Manisha is an Investment Officer at Calvert Impact focused on clean energy and decarbonization sectors. She is also involved in new product development and structuring bespoke private credit transactions. She is passionate about driving impact through investments that enhance climate resilience and promote affordability.

Before joining Calvert Impact:

Manisha led and consulted on climate financing and community development projects with the US DFC and UN Joint SDG Fund. Previously, she worked on the derivatives trading desk at Nomura, focusing on origination and pricing. She began her career as a cross-asset sales and structuring analyst at Barclays Bank. She has experience across functional teams in trade lifecycle management, liaising with various stakeholders internationally. Additionally, she has spent significant time volunteering with youth groups and NGOs in India to promote financial literacy and improve access to digital skills.

Manisha holds a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management from NMIMS University. She lives in New York City and enjoys travelling during her time off work.
