Suzannah Carr

Director

Suzannah Carr is a non-executive board director and investment committee member with more than 35 years of experience across banking, development finance, and emerging markets. She has held board and investment committee roles at development-oriented financial institutions in Asia and Europe. Her expertise spans governance, credit and risk oversight, and impact measurement, with a particular focus on financial institutions serving micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

Ms. Carr spent 24 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, where she held senior leadership roles including Head of Financial Market Global Portfolio, Head of Credit and Risk Policy, and Chief Information Officer. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and multiple governance, risk, and compliance certifications. Ms. Carr lives in the Washington DC area.
