We Welcome Kimberly Johnson To The Board

The Calvert Foundation is happy to welcome our newest board member, Kimberly Johnson. Johnson serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Fannie Mae.

Over the past decade, Kimberly has held a variety of positions at Fannie Mae before her appointment as CRO in 2015. She is the executive sponsor for the Fannie Mae African American Employee Resource Group as well as a member of the Women’s Employee Resource Group. She also worked on the Fannie Mae Culture Steering Committee, which worked to create opportunities for women at Fannie Mae, as well as the the company’s Diversity Advisory Council.

Outside of Fannie Mae, she is a member and speaker for the Executive Leadership Council and Women’s Leadership Forum, which work to advance African-American executives and business leaders. In addition to her new position as a Calvert Foundation board member, Kimberly serves as the Vice Chair on the Communities in Schools: The Nation’s Capital Board of Directors.

With Kimberly’s appointment, we are excited to usher in a new generation of board members and continue to foster a more diverse culture. Earlier this year, we at Calvert Foundation brought on several new board members: Phil Kirshman, Chief Investment Officer at Cornerstone Capital Investment Management, Jamie Yordan, former Vice-Chairman of Citigroup, Decker Rolph, an early-stage business and finance executive and investor, and Aron Betru, Managing Director of the Center for Financial Markets at the Milken Institute. This brings the number of board members to 12.
