Arjola Tafaj

Analyst, Loan Administration

Arjola is an analyst for the Loan Administration team where she is responsible for loan closings and disbursements, working closely with the investments and legal team. Prior to joining Calvert Impact, Arjola was a Research Coordinator based in Europe at Coalition for Women in Journalism, an organization that advocates and supports women journalists around the world. She also worked as a journalist at Exit Explaining Albanian covering topics related to social justice, environmental sustainability and economic development.

Arjola holds a MA degree in International Journalism and BA in Political Science from Marin Barleti University. She was born and raised in Tirana, Albania and speaks fluently Italian, French, English, and Albanian.

Outside of work, Arjola is passionate about piano and classical music given her 13 years of professional piano background. She lives in Washington D.C. with her husband and her dog Kaya.
