Moriah Dean

Officer, Investments

Moriah is an Investment Officer on the Investments team, focusing on deal origination across Calvert Impact's domestic portfolio.

Prior to joining Calvert Impact:

Moriah Dean served on the Economic Opportunity team at a private foundation (Dogwood Health Trust), where she managed impact investments and grants to small business CDFIs, non-traditional small business capital providers, and broader community and economic development initiatives in rural Western North Carolina. Before joining the foundation, Moriah worked at Mountain BizWorks, a Western North Carolina-based small business CDFI. Over five years, she served in many roles including attracting diversified capital, driving communications, managing impact measurement, and originating small business loans - all to support an inclusive and vibrant local economy in Appalachian North Carolina.

Moriah is an MBA candidate at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and holds a BA in Sustainable Product Development from Warren Wilson College.
