Payton Carter

Analyst, Investments

Payton is an Analyst on the Investments team responsible for monitoring the current portfolio, supporting Investment Officers in the underwriting process, and engaging with borrowers on their financial and impact performance. She is passionate about climate focused transactions, environmental justice, and community-centered solutions.

Before joining Calvert Impact:
Payton was a graduate intern with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the Public Welfare Foundation in Washington, D.C. She has international work experience with a London-based hedge fund and multiple non-profits in Gressier, Haiti. Payton holds an MA in International Development from American University’s School of International Service and a BSBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri.

Outside of work, Payton enjoys:
Skiing, rock climbing, vintage markets, and live music with friends and family.
